Daddy's little girl!

This is one of my favorites of Sadie and her Daddy. Last night she was being a stinker about going to bed for me (about 2hrs of sleep, wake, sleep, wake)... then Marc got home from his golf trip... talked to her, rocked her and to sleep she went (all in about 10 min) . She just missed her Daddy!

A Daisy of a Good Time:)

Sorry for all the posts today... I'm just trying to get caught up. Marc is gone in Alabama on a golf trip so Sadie and I decided to have a photo shoot this morning. I am able to get some great photos now that she is able to push up on her forearms... the only problem is that she is always wanting to roll over. So, she rolls over and then I put her back on her tummy and we continue taking pix:)

Welcome Colin!

Last Sunday we went to the hospital to visit Sadie's newest friend, Colin. We are so excited for Emily and Neil... and their beautiful baby boy! He is so stinkin cute!!!

I couldn't resist putting a picture of Lily in her new tu-tu. It was so cute watching her dance around in it! I can't believe I actually got a picture with her looking and smiling... she moves so fast she's hard to catch.

Sadie's Baby Shower/ Road Trip

Last weekend we took our first road trip since Sadie arrived to Auburn for Sadie's baby shower at Aunt Valerie's and Uncle Scott's house. The car ride up there took a little longer than expected with a pit stop for Sadie to eat... and the same on the ride home (guess it looks like we will be doing that a lot). Each way ended up being 3hrs instead of just 2. We had a wonderful time seeing everyone and got a lot of wonderful gifts (we won't have to buy any clothes for a long time!) Here are some pix of the new additions to the family in the past year... Evan, Kaylee, and Gabe! aren't they cute!

Beautiful Blue Eyes!

Yes, Sadie is still holding onto those beautiful blue eyes! (Marc tells me I have some explaining to do if they stay that way:) I thought this picture was so good that I had to add it. I have no idea to work this fancy camera, but I just play around with it until I get good pix. Kasey... i need some serious lessons!

Rolling into 8 weeks!!!

Sadie surprised herself today rolling over while I was taking pictures. Usually her rolling over is when she is angry, but today she just did it. What a big girl!!! As you can see her 3month clothes are fitting very well... it's fun to be able to wear all those cute outfits that have been given to her!

7+ weeks

Wow, it has been a long time since I have posted! We have had lots of visitors- in one weekend/ beginning of the week we managed to have all of the grandparents here at one time or another. Sadie impressed me with her sleeping 8-10 hours/night for about 2 weeks straight and now has reverted back to waking every 5hrs (I tell myslef it is because she misses me and wants to see me in the night:). She still enjoys playing, looking in her mirror, listening to daddy make up songs, and is beginning to "coo" more and more (she likes to listen to herslef:).

Yesterday I stopped by the hospital for a Dr appt and to visit friends. Sadie now weighs in at a wopping 9lbs 6.4oz (and that was after the blow-out of poo all through her outfit... glad i packed an extra:) Everyone was glad to see her and the general concensus is that she is still the clone of Marc:)

Sadie slept 8 1/2 hours straight last night... and so did her mom!!! (She has had a few times were she has slept that long, but for one reason or another I was never able to take advantage of it... I had to study or something). So, we got up, ate and went back down for 3 more hours:) What a wonderful baby! (and after an 1 1/2 hours of playing she is back to sleep:)
